Cold storage capacity is expected to grow at 13% per annum over the next 4 years. Federation of Cold Storages Association (FCAOI)
FCAOI is an all India association with members in most of the states in the country. There is a huge need for cold storage facilities in India leading to the formation of state level associations who look after their concerns.
The Objectives of FCAOI

Indian Industries Association (IIA)
IIA is an apex representative body of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) with a strong membership base of about 6500 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Maharashtra Rajya Sahakari Dudh Mahasangh Maryadit (MRSDMM)
MRSDMM is an Apex Federation of District/Taluka milk unions established to implement the Operation Flood programme in the state of Maharashtra. MRSDMM was established on 9th June, 1967. At present MRSDMM have 85 member unions (25 District + 60 Taluka) with more than 24000 primary milk societies & 25 lakh milk producers, which includes appx. 27000 women members. It has plants at Goregaon, Vashi, Pune, Latur, Nagpur, Chalisgaon &Vaibhavwadi. The main objectives of MRSDMM is to procure milk from the member milk unions at remunerative rates and distribute the same to the consumers at reasonable rates. MRSDMM is thus working as a vital link between the milk producers and consumers and working for the economic development and upliftment of the farmers in the rural areas. MAHANAND DAIRY is the unit run by the MRSDMM. Strawberry Growers Association of India
Strawberry Growers Association of Indiawas formed in 2005 to support the fruit plantation in India. In this initiative, Central Govt. has started so many intensive schemes under NHB. As a part to increase the growth of Strawberry and to work for the betterment of strawberry growing farmers, the association came to existence. The association arrange conferences and meetings at different places to guide the farmers and give them information as regards to use modern methods & technical know-how etc. They have found platform to put forth their questions and difficulties. It has 87 members from the various states of country.Tilldate, the association has arranged 5 National level & state level seminars,6 Strawberry festivals and 5 awareness camps in North India. The association also requested Agri Minister for Research & Development Centre at Mahabaleshwar, to supply the strawberry plants at reasonable rates, increase the subsidy and minimize the repayment period of term loan. In near future, the association aims to capture markets at Hyderabad and other places like Chennai.
